Director’s note: I started this project in 2016. Completed it in February 2020, with the addition of the poetry by Hashem. Shot on super 8mm , mobile phone and DSLR.

Dans un essai poétique poignant, Chantal Partamian navigue à travers des frontières éphémères, suspendu entre deux États-nations. Dans un voyage à distance rempli d’amour et de désir, deux amants se retrouvent pris en transit. À travers des fragments d’expériences, le film explore la beauté et la douleur de la séparation, tout en célébrant la force de l’amour. En s’appuyant sur des images évocatrices et une narration poignante, la cinéaste expérimentale, documentariste et activiste queer transmet sa vision unique du monde, faisant de ce film une expérience inoubliable pour tous les amoureux, les voyageurs et les personnes qui cherchent à s’exprimer librement. Set to the black and white footage of a journey, Chantal Partamian's "Landing "is a short poem about lovers in transit. With longing and patience in equal measure, the film shows fragments of a long-distance relationship, and what it’s like to be queer and exist between states.
